LAHORE - The major car assemblers in the country have once again raised the rates of their all models, third increase in just six months, on the excuse of implementing Euro-II emission standards. Though the Euro-II emission standards have been made mandatory for all new cars by the government from July 1st, yet the auto assemblers did not wait for the arrival of next month and increased the prices on average by Rs65,000. The Pak Suzuki Motor Company has increased its prices of various models from June 12, while the Indus Motor Company (IMC) raise in prices will be effective from tomorrow (June 26).
